A framing shop, but not the usual kind.
We love art, design and preserving artifacts in beautiful frames. But instead of guessing what Kingston needs, we're asking you.
Below are three ideas we're testing out. If one excites you, click the button and let us know!
Child by Aida Sulcs, Coloured pencil and gouache on rag, 4’ 6” x 3’ 6”

One
Art on your walls (without the stress)
Rent it. Rotate it, or make it yours. Choose from a curated collection of art by local Kingston artists, and have it framed, delivered, and installed. No hammers required.
-
Our rental program is designed to fit your space and your rhythm. You can choose a plan that works best for you — monthly, quarterly, or annually. Once you’re on a program, you’ll enjoy the flexibility to rotate your artwork on schedule or purchase a piece outright if it feels like the perfect fit. We handle the framing, delivery, and installation, so all you have to do is enjoy the art.
-
Renting is a flexible, affordable way to enjoy original art — perfect for offices, events, staging, or home refreshes — without a big upfront cost.
If you fall in love with a piece, you don’t have to let it go — you can purchase it anytime during your rental. Even better, we’ll apply up to 50% of your rental payments toward the purchase price.
-
Art rental creates a welcoming, inspiring atmosphere for staff and customers while supporting local artists. Plus, rental fees are tax-deductible!
Two
Shadow box for your treasure
An old concert ticket? Your great-grandpa’s cigarette case? A wedding bouquet that’s somehow still intact in a shoebox? We’ll frame the sentimental things into something you can look at every day. Also makes a pretty good gift!
-
A shadow box is a custom-built frame with extra depth, designed to showcase objects as well as images. They’re perfect for preserving and displaying keepsakes like textiles, heirlooms, sports jerseys, or 3D artwork.
-
You’ll be involved every step of the way — from choosing the wood type, finish, and color, to selecting matting and layout. We’ll guide you with expert advice, but the final look is tailored to your vision.
-
Each one is handcrafted from solid wood, tailored to the size and depth of your objects, and finished with archival materials and UV glass so your keepsakes are preserved beautifully for years to come.

We’re Aaron and Lindsay — partners in life and now (possibly) in frames.
Aaron is an artist and cabinet maker with 10 years of experience framing art for galleries in Toronto. He’s obsessed with solid wood and the beautiful details of joinery work.
Lindsay is an artist, designer, and community builder. She knows what it takes to pour yourself into making art and spaces that draw you in.
A few years ago we landed in Kingston and now we’re hoping to build something here: part art shop, part framing studio, part experiment.
